SSC Signature Resizer (2026 rules)
Many websites still use the old 4 × 2 cm SSC size. The 2026 SSC notices say about 6.0 × 2.0 cm and 10–20 KB, and this tool follows them.
- No upload
- Exact KB & pixels
- Official sizes
- No watermark
Quick answer
SSC asks for a scanned signature in JPG format of 10–20 KB, about 6.0 cm wide and 2.0 cm high (2026 notices). Your photograph is captured live by the SSC portal, so you do not upload a photo. This tool crops your signature to 6.0 × 2.0 cm at 200 DPI (472 × 157 pixels) and fits the file between 10 and 20 KB. Your photo is processed inside your browser and is never uploaded to our server.

Frequently asked questions
Is the SSC signature size 4 × 2 cm or 6 × 2 cm?
The 2026 SSC notices say "about 6.0 cm (width) × 2.0 cm (height)". Older notices used about 4.0 × 2.0 cm. Always follow the notice of the exam you are applying for.
Do I need to upload a photo for SSC?
No. SSC captures your photograph live during the application. Do not photograph an old printed photo; such applications are rejected.
My signature file is under 10 KB. What do I do?
The tool automatically brings the file within 10–20 KB. If the picture is naturally smaller, it adds a blank comment block inside the file; the signature itself is unchanged.
Can I sign in capital letters?
SSC rejects unclear signatures. Use your normal running signature, the same one you will use in the exam hall.
Is my signature uploaded to your website?
No. Everything happens in your browser and nothing is sent to our server.
