Quick answer

For each line, taxable value = quantity × rate − discount; GST = taxable value × GST%. The invoice total is the sum of taxable values plus the sum of GST, split into CGST + SGST for intra-state or IGST for inter-state supply.

How to use the GST Invoice Calculator

  1. Add a row for each item: description, quantity, rate, discount %, GST %.
  2. Choose intra-state or inter-state.
  3. Read the per-line and total tax breakup.

Worked example

10 units at ₹250 with 18% GST: taxable ₹2,500, GST ₹450, total ₹2,950.

Formula

Line taxable = Qty × Rate × (1 − Disc ÷ 100)
Line GST = Line taxable × GST ÷ 100
