Quick answer
For an online PAN application through Protean (NSDL), the photo must be a colour JPG at 200 DPI, 3.5 cm high × 2.5 cm wide, up to 20 KB, and the signature a JPG at 200 DPI, 2 cm high × 4.5 cm wide, up to 10 KB. UTIITSL accepts a photo up to 30 KB and a signature up to 60 KB. This tool makes both at 200 DPI. Your photo is processed inside your browser and is never uploaded to our server.
